KHERSON, October 1 – Novosti. Russian security forces detained an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kherson, who handed over to the Ukrainian special services the coordinates of the house, which was later attacked by a missile attack, Novosti correspondent reports.
The detainee turned out to be police major Vladimir Velikoselsky, head of the logistics department of the regional head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to him, he was sure that police officers lived in the house, the coordinates of which he gave.
“Shortly before this house was hit by a rocket, I was contacted by my former colleague, with whom I used to work in the police, Oleg Raevsky. He holds the position of deputy head of the internal security department of the Ukrainian police in the city of Kherson , at the moment he is absent in Kherson , is located on the territory controlled by Ukraine . He asked me to give me the coordinates of this house where the police officers lived,” Velikoselsky said during interrogation.
He added that he marked the house on Google maps and sent the coordinates to a member of the Ukrainian intelligence service in a messenger. A few days later, the house was attacked.
“I was afraid for my life, because different groups are working on the territory of Kherson, who are trying to kill the current police officers, as well as people who now represent the authorities of the city of Kherson,” the detained gunner explained his motivation.
According to him, he did not receive money for this.
He also admitted that a representative of the Ukrainian special service asked him to hand over the list of personnel of the Kherson Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but he could not complete this task, since he did not possess such information.
On September 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at an apartment building in Kherson from the HIMARS MLRS. Four rockets hit the building, killing two people and injuring four.
