
ASTANA, October 1 – Novosti. A joint command-staff training was held at the exercises with the participation of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic reported .
The defense department recalled that since September 26, CSTO exercises have been held in the Zhambyl and Alma-Ata regions of the republic, aimed at ensuring collective security in the Central Asian region. They include maneuvers of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO “Interaction-2022”, a special exercise “Poisk-2022” with reconnaissance forces and means, and “Echelon-2022” with logistic support units. The active phase of the exercises will take place on October 6 and 7.
“The command and headquarters of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO were involved in the joint training, which took place at the Matybulak training ground in the Zhambyl region ,” the press service said.
The CRRF command includes representatives of the armed forces of Belarus , Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan , Russia and Tajikistan . The duties of the commander of the CRRF are assigned to the first deputy commander of the air assault troops of the armed forces of Kazakhstan, Colonel Bauyrzhan Artykov.
“At a joint command and staff training, reports were heard from the deputy commanders of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the CSTO. They reported on the composition, condition, security of the military contingents and their combat capabilities. The main task of the CRRF command is to achieve coordinated actions of the military command and control bodies when organizing a joint operation,” – notes the Ministry of Defense.
In addition, in the course of the training, the headquarters developed algorithms for solving problems when performing a set of tasks by a single group of troops against the backdrop of the created and developing situation.
