MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. The acceptance of documents for the competition of the Union State Prizes in the field of literature and art started on October 1 and will last until January 31, 2023, according to the official website of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Prizes of the Union State in the field of literature and art are awarded for works of literature and art that make a great contribution to strengthening relations of brotherhood, friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the member states of the Union State, the authors of which are their citizens.
“The acceptance of documents for the competition of the Union State Prizes in the field of literature and art has started … The acceptance of documents for the competition of prizes will be carried out from October 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023: in the Russian Federation – by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation … ; in the Republic of Belarus – by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus,” the message says.
On the agency’s portal, it is noted that the nomination of works for awards is carried out by creative unions, government bodies, scientific organizations, institutions, organizations and enterprises in the field of culture and art, institutions providing higher education, media editors, organizations and enterprises engaged in publishing activities , public associations. The organization can simultaneously nominate works of only one author or one team of authors for the award.
“Works published no later than March 1, 2020, including works in the field of literature, literary criticism and art history after their publication; works in the field of musical, theatrical, visual, monumental, choreographic, variety, circus and audiovisual art, design…; works in the field of architecture,” the message added.
It is noted that an organization nominating a work for the award must send an application to the relevant Ministry of Culture indicating the main motives for the nomination, attaching documents and materials. In addition, detailed information about the competition, as well as its regulations, are published on the official website of the Union State.
