
YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, October 1 – Novosti. An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was recorded by seismologists on Saturday in Sakhalin, Novosti was told in the island branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“Earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.6 were recorded on October 1 at 15.08 (7.08 Moscow time). The epicenter was located 19 kilometers east of the village of Val, Nogliksky district. The earthquake source was at a depth of 10 kilometers,” said Elena Semenova , head of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk seismic station .
According to the interlocutor, residents of the Nogliki region could feel the tremors with a force of up to 3-4 points. Currently, experts are engaged in a survey of the population on tangibility.
