
MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. For the first time in Moscow, an exhibition of young Russian artists “Heritage and Modernity” will be held. It opened in the Central Hall of the Union of Artists of Russia in the West Wing of the New Tretyakov Gallery, the press service reports.
The exposition is located on more than 1200 square meters. The exhibition features more than 140 projects by 48 young masters in different styles, techniques and genres: painting, graphics, sculpture, photography and digital art. They were selected from the applications of 440 artists.

The exhibition is dedicated to the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia. The works reflect the national identity and cultural code of different regions of the country.
Masters from Adygea, Altai Territory, Bashkortostan, Stavropol Territory, Tomsk, Magadan, Murmansk, Tyumen, Sverdlovsk and Omsk regions, Buryatia, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Chuvashia, as well as Moscow and St. Petersburg will present their work.

Meetings with the authors of the works, viewing of the exposition by members of the professional community – gallery owners and art historians are also planned. Artists of the art project “New Fairy Tale” will present theatrical performances, which combine classical music and artistic video projections.
The exhibition will run until October 10, 2022. Free admission.
