
ANKARA, Oct 1 – Novosti. Delegations from Finland, Sweden and Turkey may meet in October on the NATO membership process, Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto said .
“Of course, we hope that NATO members will complete the process of reviewing our application as quickly as possible. At the moment we have a good result. There are two parliamentary approvals left: Turkey and Hungary . The picture that we have indicates progress. I do not want go into details, but the meeting in August (August 26 in Helsinki ) showed a positive atmosphere and progress was made. The next meeting is expected to take place in October,” Hürriyet quoted Haavisto as saying.
