MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. A man stabbed his wife to death during a quarrel, and then committed suicide in the south-east of Moscow, a criminal case was opened, Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to the head of the capital’s head office of the RF IC, told reporters.
According to the investigation, on the morning of October 1, the body of a woman born in 1993 with multiple stab wounds of the body was found in the apartment of a house on Academician Skryabin Street.
Preliminarily, the investigation believes that her husband, born in 1985, came to their rented apartment and stabbed his wife several times during the quarrel. After that, he sent a message about the incident to a relative and committed suicide.
“A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder),” Ivanova said.
Investigators and criminologists are now working on the spot, neighbors are being interrogated. The man will undergo a posthumous psychological and psychiatric examination.
