IRKUTSK, October 1 – Novosti. The state of emergency was introduced in the Taishet district of the Irkutsk region, where on Friday there was a power outage due to bad weather, according to the GUMCHS of the region.
In 17 settlements of the Taishetsky district of the Irkutsk region on Friday, due to the passage of the snow front, there was a power outage. To eliminate the consequences of the accident, teams of grid companies are involved. Currently, 9 villages remain without power supply. Restoration work is complicated on hard-to-reach sections of power lines, as forest roads are washed out after a snowfall.
“In connection with the emergency power outage in populated areas from 08.00 (03.00 Moscow time) on 01.10.2022, the “Emergency Situation” mode of operation has been introduced in the Taishet district,” the message says.
An operational headquarters operates in the district, the garrisons of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the territory have been transferred to an enhanced version of service. Power supply is planned to be restored until 20.00 (15.00 Moscow time) Saturday.
