“Astrakhan citizens, called up for military service on partial mobilization, were located in the village of Borzoi, Shatoisky district of the Chechen Republic,” the report says.
In the military formation, the fighters are put on all types of allowances, they have already received uniforms and are starting to carry out combat coordination of the unit.
“Citizens called up in the course of partial mobilization are currently undergoing training and restoring combat skills. After coordination, they will be distributed according to their intended purpose,” the message says.
On Saturday, Borzoi received a humanitarian cargo sent by the government of the Astrakhan region and municipal administrations: boots, warm clothes, medicines, food.
By decree of President Vladimir Putin , a partial mobilization has been announced in Russia since September 21 . According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , it is needed to control the 1,000-kilometer line of contact and the liberated territories in Ukraine . During the mobilization, a total of 300,000 reservists will be called up, which is just over 1% of the total mobilization resource of the Russian Federation.
