MEXICO CITY, Oct 1 – Novosti. Tropical Cyclone Orlin in the Pacific Ocean has gained strength as a hurricane and is approaching the coast of the states of Sinaloa and Nayarit, and is expected to rise on Monday evening, Mexico’s National Water Commission Conagua said .
“Orlin became a Category 1 Saffir-Simpson hurricane this morning. It is located 325 kilometers west-southwest of Manzanillo, Colima , and 340 kilometers south-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco.” , says the Conagua blog post.
According to the graphical forecast, the center of the cyclone will make landfall at 19:00 (GMT-6) on 3 October. At the same time, it will again weaken to a tropical storm.
