Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and noted that, despite the difficult international situation, Russia and China are cooperating in various areas, joining forces to build a just world order.

“Please accept the warmest, friendly congratulations on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The successes achieved by China in the socio-economic, scientific and technical and many other fields are generally recognized. Your country enjoys well-deserved prestige on the world stage, plays an important constructive role in addressing topical issues of the regional and global agenda,” the telegram reads.
Putin notes that Russian-Chinese relations are developing dynamically in the spirit of strategic cooperation and partnership. In addition, the countries are successfully cooperating, despite the complexity of the international situation, in a variety of areas, and thanks to common goals and efforts, it will be possible to build a more democratic and fair world order, counteract modern threats and challenges.
“I would like to reaffirm my readiness to continue our dialogue and close joint work for the benefit of the friendly peoples of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China,” the message says.
The President wished good health, well-being and success in holding the forthcoming 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China.
