
BRYANSK, October 1 – Novosti. Residents of the Kolpyansky district of the Oryol region handed over a package with necessary things and products weighing 1.6 tons to the zone of a special military operation in Ukraine, Governor of the region Andrei Klychkov said in Telegram.
“Kolpnyansky district again gives reason for pride. Kolpnyansky residents regularly participate in sending goods to our fighters. Another batch of parcels from residents of the municipality was handed over to our aviation participating in a special military operation yesterday,” the message says.
It is noted that the list of goods includes sleeping bags, thermal underwear, chainsaws, water, tea, coffee, cigarettes, medicines, stew, and other non-perishable products. The total weight of the parcel is 1.6 tons. In addition to goods, children’s letters and school crafts were also donated.
The head of the region thanked the pilots for their courage and bravery and expressed gratitude to the residents of the Kolpnyansky district and all the residents of Oryol who are involved in providing assistance.
He noted that a large parcel for the mobilized men would soon be handed over.
By decree of President Vladimir Putin , a partial mobilization has been announced in Russia since September 21 . According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , it is needed to control the 1,000-kilometer line of contact and the liberated territories in Ukraine. During the mobilization, a total of 300,000 reservists will be called up, which is just over 1% of the total mobilization resource of the Russian Federation.
