YEREVAN, Oct 1 – Novosti. Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan will leave for Moscow on October 9 at the invitation of Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, the parliamentary press service reported on Saturday.
“The delegation headed by the chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia will leave for the capital of the Russian Federation on October 9. A three-day visit is planned,” the website of the Armenian legislative body says.
It is noted that Volodin invited Simonyan to Russia on an official visit “in order to develop cooperation between the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.”
