MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. Students who studied full-time at an educational institution and received a survivor’s pension must notify the Russian Pension Fund upon graduation or transfer to part-time education, the Explain.rf portal reported on Saturday.
“Yes, you need to notify the FIU about graduation, as well as about transferring to part-time education,” the portal said in response to a related question.
In addition to the child, the survivor’s pension is also assigned to one of the parents, spouse or other family members. The pension itself is paid up to the age of 18, but when entering a full-time university or college, it can be kept up to 23 years.
