MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. The Troitsky District Court of Moscow, at the request of the prosecutor’s office, took into custody until November 30 the executor of the contract killing of a woman in New Moscow, the capital’s prosecutor’s office reports .
Earlier it was reported that the security forces detained in St. Petersburg the perpetrator of the murder of a woman who was walking a dog in New Moscow, a little more than three weeks after the crime.
The murder under mysterious circumstances took place on September 5: the body of a woman with a gunshot wound to the head was found in New Moscow. The wife of the murdered woman, pensioner of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yury Novikov, then told the security forces that his wife was shot dead by a stranger with a pistol after remarking that their dog was walking without a leash. At the same time, the husband allegedly did not see the moment of the murder – he, in his own words, took the dog away, and his wife remained to swear with the stranger.
Subsequently, law enforcement officers found out that Novikov decided to kill his wife out of selfish motives, and involved an acquaintance in the crime, who found the perpetrator of the crime and handed him weapons, ammunition and money, also informing him about the routes of her movement. Novikov and his acquaintance, who confessed, have already been arrested.
“Taking into account the position of the prosecutor’s office, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention until November 30, 2022 against the perpetrator of the murder of a woman in New Moscow . (murder for hire) and part 1 of article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal trafficking in weapons). He pleaded guilty. The accused acted as the perpetrator of the murder, “the agency reports in its Telegram channel.
According to the defendant, an accomplice to the murder, with whom they had previously served time in prison, brought him to the scene of the crime. Of the promised 500 thousand rubles, the accused received only 78 thousand from the accomplice.
Earlier, a pre-trial agreement on cooperation was concluded between the prosecutor of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsk administrative districts and the defendant, under the terms of which he exposed the accomplices.
