DONETSK, October 1 – Novosti. The entry of the Donetsk People’s Republic into Russia will make it possible to realize the hopes of residents for life in a peaceful, strong, prosperous country, Alexander Malkov, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR, told Novosti.
On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions , after which he signed agreements with their heads on the admission of regions into Russia.
“The signing of the agreement is a logical continuation of our path, which we chose in 2014. Our main task is to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, create comfortable and safe living conditions for our people. I am sure that, being a subject of the Russian Federation, we are fully As far as we realize all the aspirations of our citizens – to live in a peaceful, prosperous, just, strong and proud country,” Malkov said.
Referendums on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation were held on September 23-27. According to the results of processing 100% of the ballots in the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%.
