MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kirill Budanov, said that secret specialists in the style of the Israeli intelligence Mossad are already working in the country’s security forces.
Israel ‘s intelligence service Mossad is engaged in intelligence, conducting various counter-terrorism operations and undercover operations. The activity of the service is not officially regulated by the legislation, and the number of the service is in the nature of a state secret.
When asked by the host of the TSN TV channel whether Budanov was ready to confirm the statements of military experts that there are already people in Ukraine who work in the Mossad style, he replied that “this is true,” but did not disclose more details. At the same time, he expressed the hope that such “special forces” would not be used by the political leadership of the country.
Budanov also confirmed that he personally previously held a “secret” post. He told a story from his life when he needed to restore a card in a bank in connection with the loss, which was issued before being appointed to a “secret” position.
“I did a stupid thing, I came to the bank with a request to renew my card. I provided documents – but it’s all a different person. This is all (secret service – ed.) And there is this reality,” he said.
