MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. Britain’s Mirror newspaper vowed to fight racism harder after mistaking another black man for Treasury Secretary Quasi Kwarteng.
The publication accompanied the news about Kvarteng with a photo of another black man. The Minister, in turn, in social networks pointed out the mistake.
“This morning, a photo in an article about Quasi Kwarteng on the Mirror website was mislabeled. It was a terrible mistake and we apologize to Mr. Kwarteng and all our readers… Mirror has been fighting racism for a long time and we will redouble our measures in this direction” , the paper wrote on Twitter .
