The shift of the call will not affect the timing of the return of those who served, said Shoigu

PATRIOT CENTER (Moscow region), October 1 – Novosti. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the shift in the start of the autumn draft to November 1 will not affect the timing of the demobilization of retired military personnel.
“As for the timing of the return of military conscripts home, the decree does not apply to this. On October 1, the guys will start returning home,” Shoigu said, answering a journalist’s question.
“The shift is connected only with the fact that today the workload of military registration and enlistment offices is quite high. Therefore, we would not want there to be various kinds of overlays. That is why the call itself has been shifted to November 1. As for demobilization, there are no shifts. Demobilization will be according to plan” – added the head of the Russian military department.
In the Moscow region , Shoigu, together with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov, checked the preparations and conditions for the placement of mobilized citizens. The minister personally inspected the places of accommodation for citizens called up from the reserve and volunteers, equipped on the basis of the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center and the Avangard training and methodological center for military-patriotic education of youth in Kubinka near Moscow .
