MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. In Cardiff, several thousand people took part in a demonstration for the independence of Wales, local portal Wales Online reported .
It is specified that the action began at 12:00 in the center of the country’s capital. Participants marched through the city with flags and posters with the inscription “Independence”.
According to the publication, among the participants of the action was the British actor Julian Lewis Jones, who starred in the prequel of the popular series “Game of Thrones” “Dragon’s House”. He also gave a speech to the demonstrators.
It is noted that a similar demonstration took place in the city of Wrexham in north Wales in July. Then about eight thousand people took part in it.
Wales is the smallest of the administrative and political units of Great Britain.
