MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. Ukrainian refugee Sofia Karkadym, for whom Briton Anthony Garnett left his family, is going to return to Ukraine after the man put an end to their relationship, the Daily Mail newspaper reports .
The story of Briton Anthony Garnett gained resonance in the media due to the fact that he, the father of two children, left his wife 10 days after 22-year-old Ukrainian refugee Sophia Karkadym was settled with them as part of the state refugee program. Earlier it became known that the couple broke up. The Briton accused Karkadym of alcohol abuse, as well as interfering with his relationship with children. In addition, Garnett shared that he was tired of the “irrational behavior” of the Ukrainian woman. Subsequently, she was detained for trying to kick the door of the former lover’s house.
According to the newspaper, the refugee “packs her bags and returns to Ukraine.”
“Maybe I will have to return to Ukraine, because I cannot live in such conditions for so long. My family wants me to return,” said Sophia, who previously lived in Lviv .
It is noted that Garnett spoke with Karkadym after her detention. He told her that they would never be a couple again. Tony expressed his hope that they could remain friends.
However, Karkadym, despite Garnett’s decision to end the relationship, is not going to abandon him. “I told him that I would never drink again and that we could be happy together if he gave me another chance,” she added.
According to the refugee, a “millionaire with a house in London” has already contacted her and offered her housing and the opportunity to work out in his gym. “I don’t know this man. It sounds too strange. He says he is a millionaire. But it doesn’t mean anything to me. Tony is worth many, many millions,” said Karkadym. Garnett, in turn, said that he receives dozens of love confessions from women.
