DONETSK, October 1 – Novosti. Ukrainian troops shelled three districts of Donetsk, as well as Yasinovataya and Makeevka, in almost two hours, firing a total of 17 shells of 155 mm caliber and three shells of 152 mm caliber. (SCCC).

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin on Friday following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, after which he signed agreements on their admission to Russia.
Artillery with a caliber of 155 millimeters is used by NATO countries. The United States supplied Kyiv with long-range M-777 howitzers with a caliber of 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Also, the Kyiv troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
