MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. Militants attacked the base of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) in the east of the country, killing a peacekeeper, the mission said in a statement.
It is noted that the incident occurred late on Friday evening. The militants attacked the base of the mission in the Minambwe region in the province of South Kivu.
