US threatens to ‘more aggressively’ impose sanctions for supporting Russia

MOSCOW, October 1 – Novosti. The United States is ready to “more aggressively” apply sanctions against third countries for supporting Russia, follows from a document published by the US Treasury Department.
It says that the United States is ready to use sanctions to “prosecute” individuals who provide support to those under US sanctions or support “sanctioned activities.”
The ministry said the sanctions against entities from third countries could follow “substantial deals” to provide material support to the Russian Armed Forces or the Russian defense industry sector. The document also states that the US administration is ready to impose sanctions against foreign citizens and legal entities for supporting referendums in the liberated territories and in the Donbass .
Earlier it became known that the United States imposed sanctions against companies from China, Belarus and Armenia for violating export control measures against Russia.
The West has increased sanctions pressure on Russia over Ukraine , which has led to higher prices for electricity, fuel and food in Europe and the United States. President Vladimir Putin has said in the past that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy for the West, and sanctions have dealt a severe blow to the entire global economy. According to him, the main goal of the West is to worsen the lives of millions of people. It has been repeatedly stated in Russia that Moscow will solve all the problems that the West creates for it.
