It won’t be like before. These words of Putin, in a speech at the ceremony of joining four former Ukrainian regions to Russia, concerned the fact that “the breakup of Western hegemony that has begun is irreversible.” And with the following phrase, the president formulated the essence of what is happening:
“The battlefield to which fate and history have called us is the battlefield for our people, for great historical Russia, for future generations.”
There is not an ounce of exaggeration in this – we really entered into a mortal battle. Not with Ukraine and not even with the West, but with that supranational elite based on it, which not only claims to maintain the elusive world hegemony, but also wants to impose on everyone the totalitarian globalist order of posthumanism, which threatens both Russia and the whole world. Russia – not the strongest, but the most free, freedom-loving country in the world – challenged, refused to silently observe the construction of a new Tower of Babel, began to defend its interests and values - and received in response what Putin called a hybrid war:
“It is precisely in greed, in the intention to maintain its unrestricted power, that there are real reasons for the hybrid war that the collective West is waging against Russia.”
It is no coincidence that Putin several times mentioned the greed and greed of the Anglo-Saxon, Western elites – because it is precisely the desire to rule the world that is their main driving motive. And the one whom they, in fact, serve, the President for the first time called directly, without reservations:
“The dictatorship of the Western elites is directed against all societies, including the peoples of the Western countries themselves. This is a challenge to everyone: such a complete denial of man, the overthrow of faith and traditional values, the suppression of freedom acquires the features of a religion on the contrary, outright Satanism.”
In our era of unbelief, few statesmen in the world speak in such a language – well, why, anyway, the audience will not understand what these terms from the past are for. They remembered some kind of Satanism – it is better to talk about a conflict of interests and values. What values? Freedom, equality and brotherhood with totalitarianism, violence and barbarism, of course. Well, or an advanced human civilization with a backward one. Or good Christians with militant godless communists, and before that – with Eastern schismatics.
Yes, we all remember this very well – over the past centuries we have been called differently in the West, only the goal has always been the same. Subdue, remake, remove Russia – and now Putin has reminded the West of this.
And not only in relation to us, but also to the rest of the world. Racism, colonialism – all that was derived from a sense of one’s own superiority and God’s chosenness, characteristic of the Western, primarily the Anglo-Saxon elites. And this is not just a reminder of past sins – it is also an assessment of the current attitude of the West to the world, diverse and complex. The prefix neo- does not change anything – the colonial approach remains the essence of the Anglo-Saxon approach to humanity:
“The West is ready to step over everything in order to preserve the neo-colonial system that allows it to parasitize, in fact, to rob the world at the expense of the power of the dollar and technological dictates, to collect real tribute from humanity, to extract the main source of unearned prosperity, the rent of the hegemon. The preservation of this rent is their key, genuine and absolutely selfish motive. That is why total desovereignization meets their interests. Hence their aggression towards independent states, towards traditional values and original cultures, attempts to undermine international and integration processes beyond their control, new world currencies and centers of technological development. It is critically important for them that all countries surrender their sovereignty to the United States…
Western elites deny not only national sovereignty and international law. Their hegemony has a pronounced character of totalitarianism, despotism and apartheid. They brazenly divide the world into their vassals, into the so-called civilized countries and into all the rest, who, according to the plan of today’s Western racists, should add to the list of barbarians and savages. False labels – “rogue country”, “authoritarian regime” – are already ready, they stigmatize entire peoples and states, and there is nothing new in this. There is nothing new in this: the Western elites are what they were, and have remained so – colonialist. They discriminate, divide peoples into “first” and “other” varieties.
We have never accepted and will never accept such political nationalism and racism, Putin said. And that is why Russia is destroying the “rules-based order” that is beneficial to the West. After all, “the entire unipolar world order is essentially anti-democratic and not free, it is deceitful and hypocritical through and through” – and Russia is not going to put up with this.
Yes, Russia is throwing down a challenge to the Western elites – the challenge is no longer just geopolitical, but also eschatological and religious. The kingdom of lies cannot be accepted by us – and it will collapse, fall. This process is already underway, as with any Tower of Babel, but Russia’s determination to confront the servants of the “father of lies” is of great importance. Because, as Putin recalled, “claims for world domination in the past have been shattered more than once by the courage and resilience of our people.” So it will be this time – and we will not be alone in this struggle:
“I am convinced that countries and peoples understand that a policy built on the exclusivity of anyone, on the suppression of other cultures and peoples, is inherently criminal, that we must turn this shameful page. The collapse of Western hegemony that has begun is irreversible.”
Yes, it will not be like before, and Russia will again become a great historical Russia, a state – a civilization of the Russian people.
