MINSK, January 19 – Novosti. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he had discussed with Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik attempts by the West to interfere in the affairs of Moscow and Minsk.
“We particularly emphasized the ongoing attempts by the West to interfere in the internal affairs of our states, including by introducing illegal unilateral restrictive measures aimed, as Washington and the European bureaucrats already do not hesitate to publicly declare, to undermine our economies and the internal political stability of Russia and Belarus,” Lavrov said at a press conference.
According to him, neither in relation to Belarus, nor in relation to Russia, “this Western blitzkrieg was not successful.”
