A rally against anti-Russian sanctions took place in the German city of Zwickau

BERLIN, October 2 – Novosti. In the city of Zwickau in the federal state of Saxony, an action took place against the energy policy of the German government and anti-Russian sanctions.
Among the organizers of the demonstration are Freie Sachsen and Volksstimme Bürgerbündnis Zwickau (civil association “Voice of the People of the City of Zwickau”), classified as right-wing extremists. In the announcement of the action, they called for a change in the cabinet of ministers and for a review of sanctions against Russia .
A similar demonstration was already held in Zwickau last week. Then several thousand people took to the streets.
After the start of the Russian military special operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine, the West stepped up sanctions pressure on Moscow . The European Union has already adopted seven packages of restrictions, including, among other things, an embargo on coal and oil. All this turned into problems for the Western countries themselves, provoking a sharp increase in inflation and the price of food and gasoline.
For example, Germany faced an energy crisis due to the rise in fuel prices and the reduction in Russian gas supplies. The authorities are forced to introduce serious energy saving measures, the population is urged to wash less often and lower the temperature in apartments. Due to the rise in the price of fuel, primarily gas, the German industry has largely lost its competitive advantages, which has also affected other areas of the powerful economy of the European Union.
