
MOSCOW, October 2 – Novosti. Farewell to the Honored Artist of Russia Boris Moiseev will take place on Sunday in the funeral hall of the Troekurovsky cemetery, then the artist’s funeral will take place.
Moiseev died on September 27 at the age of 69.
“Boris Moiseev will be buried on Sunday, October 2, at the 21st section of the Troekurovsky cemetery. The farewell will begin in the mourning hall at 12 noon,” a source familiar with the situation said.
Earlier acquaintances, friends and colleagues of Moiseev expressed their condolences on the death of the artist. Including the singer Alla Pugacheva noted that Moiseev was “a person devoted to friends and the stage”, and the singer Kristina Orbakaite said that for her he was “an example of an artist, an artist of his images, a creator of a unique style.” In turn, singer Philip Kirkorov said that the friendship with Boris Moiseev, which lasted almost 40 years, will forever remain in his memory.
Boris Moiseev – Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, singer, dancer, choreographer. Born March 4, 1954 in the Byelorussian SSR. In 1964, Moiseev entered the Belarusian Choreographic School, 10 years later he made his debut in the musical comedy directed by Yuri Tsvetkov “Yas and Yanina”. In 1975, Moiseev began working at the Kaunas State Musical Theatre, and later became the chief choreographer of the Trimitas State Orchestra of the Lithuanian SSR. For more than 30 years, Moiseev did not leave the pop stage, acting as a choreographer, director, and singer. His discography includes ten albums, in particular, “Child of Vice”, “Just the Nutcracker”, “Alien”, “Beloved Man”, “Angel”.
