Budget legislation will be applied in the new constituent entities of the Russian Federation from January 1, 2023, the specifics of budgeting will be established by the Cabinet of Ministers, this is stated in the release of the Duma Committee on Legislation and State Construction.
“The budgetary legislation will be applied in the constituent entities being formed from January 1, 2023. The Russian government will establish the specifics of drafting the budget of new constituent entities for 2023 (for the republics – and for the planning period of 2024 and 2025), as well as the specifics of budget execution and budget reporting. The budgets will be approved by December 15, 2022,” the document says.
