
MOSCOW, October 2 – Novosti. Heavy rains will begin in Moscow closer to midnight, up to a third of the monthly rainfall may fall overnight and Monday morning, Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, told Novosti.
“Closer to midnight, heavy heavy rains will again charge. Monday night and morning will be very rainy. A new cyclone will come out and flood us: it will preliminarily fall to 15-20 millimeters of precipitation per night and morning at an October norm of 59 millimeters,” Tishkovets said.
The meteorologist added that the center of the Balkan cyclone will pass through the most western regions of the country, the heaviest rains will fall on the Smolensk region – up to 40-45 millimeters, or up to 80% of the entire October norm.
