“It is gratifying that our system of secondary vocational education has its own holiday this year. It emphasizes the full scale of the changes that are taking place in the training of young specialists, as well as the demand for professions that students of colleges and technical schools receive,” Kravtsov said, his words are quoted in the message. on the website of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
He added that all the work is primarily aimed at making young people feel in demand, knowing that the skills they have acquired during their studies will definitely come in handy. And most importantly, in the minister’s opinion, students will be able to actively participate in the development of domestic industry and solve the key tasks of the Russian economy.
“Today, modern educational centers are being created throughout the country, training programs are being improved. This year alone, 900 new workshops equipped with the latest technology will be opened in colleges. In addition, future employers from advanced, most promising industries are actively involved in the educational process,” – the minister emphasized in his congratulations.
The Day of Secondary Vocational Education in the Russian Federation was established on October 2 by decree of the President of Russia. SPO Day in 2022 will be combined with the finals of the “Master of the Year” competition, and the venues will be the international exhibition center “Ekaterinburg-EXPO”, as well as colleges and technical schools of the Sverdlovsk region .
