This week, the Deputy Prime Minister paid a working trip to Mariupol and Volnovakha .
“We have already issued the keys to the first apartments in Mariupol. By the end of the year, we will have built 100,000 square meters, and at least a thousand apartments will be handed over to the residents of Mariupol by the end of the year,” he said.
In addition, Khusnullin assured that plans to repair 500 kilometers of roads and restore at least four bridges in the Donbass will be implemented .
Russian troops, together with the forces of the DPR and LPR, liberated Mariupol in mid-May. During the fighting, which lasted from early March, the city was seriously damaged – it was reported that 20 percent of the housing stock could not be restored.
