MOSCOW, October 2 – Novosti. The legislation of the Russian Federation on OSAGO is not applied in the DPR and LPR until January 1, 2024, it is indicated in the draft constitutional laws submitted to the State Duma by the President of the Russian Federation.
“Until January 1, 2024, the legislation of the Russian Federation on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners (OSAGO) does not apply on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the draft law on the DPR says.
The same is indicated in the draft laws for the LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions .
It is noted that the risk of civil liability of the owner of the vehicle, who lives in the territory of new regions and republics, must be insured in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the territories of the subjects of the Russian Federation in which the legislation is applied.
