Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Andrey Klishas, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation, and Pavel Krasheninnikov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation, as their representatives when the Parliament considers laws on the admission of new regions to the Russian Federation.
The order was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
In the Georgievsky Hall of the Kremlin on September 30, following the results of referendums, a ceremony was held to sign agreements on the admission of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics , Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to Russia . The documents were signed by Vladimir Putin and the heads of regions: Denis Pushilin , Leonid Pasechnik , Evgeny Balitsky and Vladimir Saldo .
