BERLIN, October 2 – Novosti. Russian Ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev was summoned to the German Foreign Ministry due to the entry into Russia of four new regions, as reported on Sunday by the DPA agency.
According to the agency, Sergei Nechaev was summoned on Sunday because of the referendums held in Novorossiya . The ambassador is expected “in the very near future,” the agency said.
On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin following the results of referendums in the DPR , LPR , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions , after which he signed agreements with their heads on the admission of regions into Russia.
Draft federal constitutional laws on the admission of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation and the formation of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation have already been submitted by the president to the State Duma .
