Two actors killed in bus-truck collision

EKATERINBURG, October 2 – Novosti. The bus carrying the troupe of the Krasnoturyinsky puppet theater got into an accident in the Sverdlovsk region, two actors died, Valery Gorelykh, head of the press service of the regional head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs , told Novosti.
The accident occurred last night at the 289th kilometer of the Yekaterinburg-Serov highway. The MAN truck drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a bus en route from Pervouralsk to Krasnoturinsk. The bus was carrying 16 puppet theater artists returning from a tour.
“As a result of the accident, two actors who were on the bus, born in 1985 and 1997, received incompatible injuries and died before the ambulance arrived. Another of their colleagues, a man born in 2001, was taken to the district hospital with injuries,” Gorely said.
Police officers are on the scene. They work out various versions of what happened and interview eyewitnesses.
