DONETSK, October 2 – Novosti. Two civilians were killed, another was injured as a result of the shelling of the settlement of Makeyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic by Ukrainian troops, the headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR said .
Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin on Friday following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, after which he signed agreements on their admission to Russia.
“Ukrainian militants attacked the Chervonogvardeisky district of Makeyevka. In the village named after Krupskaya, two men born in 1961 and 1963 were killed, a man born in 1969 was wounded,” the headquarters’ Telegram channel said.
“It hit here. His brother (husband – ed.) was badly wounded. And another neighbor, the man with whom they cut the chipboard, was also wounded, and then he died. He died in an ambulance,” Tamara, the wife of the deceased, said.
According to the representative office of the DPR in the JCCC, the shelling occurred at 13.00. According to preliminary data, shells of the “NATO” type of 155 mm caliber were used during shelling by Ukrainian troops.
