Ukraine has blocked the exit to the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region, those who wish can not leave the territory controlled by the Kyiv authorities, the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia”, a member of the main council of the regional administration, Vladimir Rogov, told Novosti.
“The Kyiv regime blocked the exit to the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region through checkpoints. So far, unfortunately, people are not being released from that side for various far-fetched reasons and with threats,” he said.
According to Rogov, the number of citizens who are trying to get into the liberated part of the region is in the thousands.
Earlier on Friday, Ukrainian troops launched an artillery strike on a convoy of vehicles with civilians, standing at the exit to the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region. 30 people were killed, 88 more citizens were injured.
To date, more than 70 percent of the region has been liberated. At the same time, the regional center, the city of Zaporozhye, remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On September 30, President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions signed agreements on the inclusion of new territories into Russia. After that, the documents were sent to the Constitutional Court for verification, today it recognized them as consistent with the Basic Law.
Now treaties are subject to ratification by the State Duma and obligatory consideration in the Federation Council . The session of the lower house is scheduled for Monday, October 3, the upper house may consider the laws the next day.
