The application for admission to the citizenship of the Russian Federation was received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia with the support of President Aslan Bzhaniya and was sent to Russia through diplomatic channels.
“President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin supported the initiative to grant Russian citizenship under a simplified procedure to Alias Avidzba,” the statement said.
Avidzba participated in the international brigade “Pyatnashka”. In August of this year, he was seriously injured.
