The first boat with passengers left the Crimea for the Kuban

KERC, Oct 8 – Novosti. The first boat with more than 100 passengers set off across the Kerch Strait from the port of Krym to the Kuban coast, a representative of the harbor said.
He specified that the ship will run on a permanent basis.
The launch of boats for the transport of passengers between the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory was announced today by the Minister of Transport of the Republic Nikolai Lukashenko.
This morning, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that a truck had been blown up on the Crimean bridge. Seven tanks with fuel caught fire along the railway part of the crossing. As a result, two car spans partially collapsed, but the supports of the arch for the passage of ships were not damaged.
Around 16:00 Moscow time, the head of the Crimea , Sergei Aksyonov , said that car traffic on the bridge for cars was resumed. It is carried out in reverse mode. Trucks and buses must use the Kerch Ferry, which operates free of charge. Aksyonov stressed that within 24 hours the issue of the possibility of their movement across the bridge would be resolved.
In turn, the railway communication was restored after seven o’clock in the evening. At about 19:30 Moscow time, a test train with 15 cars successfully passed along the Crimean bridge. The first passenger train is expected at 22:00.
