DONETSK, December 8 – Novosti. Ukrainian troops shelled Donetsk and Yasinovataya, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukraine’s War Crimes reported .
“Fire was recorded from the AFU (armed formations of Ukraine) in the direction: 15.20 (coincides with Moscow time – ed.) – the settlement of Avdiivka – the settlement of Yasinovataya: six shells with a caliber of 152 millimeters were fired,” the department said in its Telegram channel .
The mission added that at 15.55 and 16.10 Ukrainian troops fired six 155-mm shells at the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, and three 155-mm shells at the Kirovsky district of Donetsk at 15.20.
Artillery with a caliber of 155 millimeters is used by NATO countries . The United States supplied Kiev with long-range M777 howitzers with a caliber of 155 millimeters, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics . Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
