MOSCOW, October 9 – Novosti. Golden autumn in Central Russia will last another week, Yevgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, told Novosti.
“The upcoming week in Central Russia will be meteorologically characterized by quite comfortable weather conditions for mid-October, when, as a rule, another change of sub-seasons takes place – from golden autumn to deep autumn,” he said.
According to the expert, intermittent rains will pass on Sunday evening and on the night of Monday. With the onset of a new week, the atmosphere stabilizes, which is associated with the release of the anticyclone from the west, which will hold its positions until Saturday inclusive.
According to Tishkovets, the sun will alternate with clouds, precipitation is unlikely, the wind is variable, weak.
“Cool matinees are expected with the likelihood of focal fogs at a minimum temperature of zero to five degrees, frosts are possible in places on the soil, and during the day the air will warm up from eight to 13 degrees Celsius, which is only slightly above the climatic norm. And only on Sunday, with the approach of the Atlantic cyclone, it will start to rain,” the expert said.
At the same time, he noted that this will not yet become “the prologue of immersion in deep autumn”, which usually comes from October 15 to 28. According to popular belief, the golden time ends on October 14, that is, on the Feast of the Intercession, when, according to legend, the first snow should fall, the weather forecaster added.
“According to forecasts, this will not happen, and in terms of the climate in Moscow , such an event occurs infrequently – only once every ten years. This means that motorists do not have to worry about changing tires to the winter version for now,” summed up Tishkovets.
