SOCHI, October 9 – Novosti. In Sochi, hoteliers note the high demand of tourists for holidays in Krasnaya Polyana and other resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, Nina Kalinina, head of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of the Region (FRiO), told Novosti.
She explains the increased interest of vacationers by the presence of the sea and the prevailing geopolitical conditions, complex international logistics and closed borders of some European countries .
“Hoteliers fix the demand for holidays in the Krasnodar Territory and in the mountain resorts of Krasnaya Polyana in 2023 for January, March and even May,” Kalinina said.
She added that the positive indicators of bookings are noted against the backdrop of partial mobilization. “There was a ten percent decline, cancellations, but now orders are coming in again, just a little slower compared to last year,” Kalinina concluded.
Earlier, the authorities informed that Sochi in the high season of 2022 served more than five million tourists. By the end of the year, the resort is preparing to receive at least seven million guests.
