The Akhmat special forces units and the LPR People’s Militia fully control the situation at the front in the area of Seversk, Yakovlevka and Lisichansk in the Donbass, Apty Alaudinov, secretary of the Chechen Security Council, told Novosti, the commander of the Akhmat fighters in this direction.
“We control the entire situation on the front line, everything is going according to plan, we are fulfilling the tasks set. Every day we are moving forward somewhere, somewhere we are repelling enemy counteroffensives. The working combat situation,” Alaudinov said.
He clarified that we are talking about areas in the direction of Lisichansk, Seversk and Yakovlevka in the Donbass.
“We have different areas of combat operations, a total of 60 kilometers of a common front line. This is a defense line that is directly under the jurisdiction of the 2nd Corps of the People’s Militia of the LPR and the Akhmat special forces,” Alaudinov explained.
He stressed that the counterattacks of the Ukrainian troops on the front in the area of Lysichansk, Seversk and Yakovlevka in the Donbass are not successful.
“There are attempts at counteroffensives every day in different sectors. The enemy is probing our positions, trying to break through the defenses … But so far, for all this time, he has not been able to break through the defenses or move forward to any serious sectors. Yes, somewhere on for a certain time it clings, but we do our job – we knock it out,” Alaudinov said.
He clarified that the enemy makes all attempts to counterattack with the support of armored vehicles, tanks, artillery and even aircraft, but they still fail.
