The Central District Court of Togliatti added another 10 years in prison to a life sentence for Oleg Rylkov, a resident of the Samara region, who was convicted 21 years ago of brutal murders with rape, this time for the murders of five women and a minor, the SUSK RF reported in the region .
On June 16, 1998, the Samara Regional Court sentenced Rylkov to life imprisonment, finding him guilty under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “The murder of a person who is known to be in a helpless state, committed with special cruelty, coupled with rape.” In June 2020, a court in Tolyatti added another 19 years to Rylkov in prison for the murder of two girls.
“Oleg Rylkov was found guilty of committing crimes under part 2, article 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (murder of two or more persons, accompanied by robbery, rape and sexual assault). The court found Rylkov guilty of committing of these crimes, he was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The investigation and the court established that from August 1993 to November 1994, Rylkov killed five women and a girl in Tolyatti, who was 15 years old at the time of the crime. All the victims died from mechanical asphyxia.
According to the prosecutor’s office of the Samara region, Rylkov is now serving a sentence in a correctional colony in the Orenburg region (better known as the “Black Dolphin”) for the murders of six people, including five minors, committed more than 30 years ago, and the attempted murder of a child. Also on the account of the convict, according to the supervisory authority, there are 24 episodes of violent sexual acts against children and 34 episodes of robberies.
