ARIZH, Oct 3 – Novosti. Russian Ambassador to Paris Alexei Meshkov was summoned to the French Foreign Ministry on Monday, the Russian embassy said.
“The Russian ambassador was summoned to the French Foreign Ministry on Monday,” the Russian diplomatic mission told reporters.
Earlier, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of a number of countries summoned Russian ambassadors in connection with the entry into Russia of the DPR , LPR , Kherson and Zaporozhye regions .
Referendums on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation were held on September 23-27. According to the results of processing 100% of the ballots in the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted for joining the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%.
On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin following the results of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, after which he signed agreements with their heads on the admission of regions into Russia.
