LUGANSK, October 3 – Novosti. The commander of a tank company, in an interview with Novosti, told how his unit performs its duty in the special operation zone in Ukraine, and gave advice to those called up as part of partial mobilization.
“There is nothing to be afraid of, a tank is good armor, and the enemy is afraid of tanks <…> The main thing is that there is no fuss and calm, so that they know their business. Everything that they teach you, they tell you, listen, train,” he said addressing the mobilized.
Tank crews of the allied forces daily fire on the positions of the Ukrainian military in the Soledar direction. Having shot the ammunition load, one tank changes the other, creating the so-called carousel.
“We are here to repel an enemy attack <…> So that the enemy does not advance beyond the borders of the Lugansk region ,” the officer added.
The tankers, having hit the enemy in the forest belt, returned to their positions.
“The task was completed, they fired back. All without losses,” said the driver of the combat vehicle.
