
MOSCOW, October 3 – Novosti. A group of tourists missing in the mountains of Sochi, which included three children, was found, everyone is alive, a representative of emergency services told Novosti.
“Tourists have been found, everything is fine with them,” the source said.
He added that contact with the group was lost near the village of Plastunka in the Khostinsky district. Three children who were part of the group, born in 2016, 2015 and 2013.
Earlier, the press service of the Southern Regional Search and Rescue Detachment spoke about a call from a woman who said that on October 1, her husband with a friend and three children went hiking in the area of the Azhek ridge in Sochi. The tourists were going to return home on October 2, but they did not get in touch.
As the press service of the SARPSO later clarified, “at 10.00 a group of rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations got in touch – the tourists were found, medical assistance is not required.”
They also noted that the tourist group was not registered, its participants are residents of Sochi.
