DONETSK, 4 Oct – Novosti. The level of the first Russians who arrived in the DPR as part of partial mobilization is very high, many of them already have combat experience or served under a contract, one of the local instructors told Novosti.
Now the first units that arrived from the Rostov region are being trained at a training ground in the DPR. Local veterans share with them the experience of street fighting, practical advice.
“I have a positive impression of the guys. They strive, ask questions. I am very pleased to work with these people. They don’t understand something – they immediately ask questions,” the instructor told Novosti.
He noted that all those mobilized are people who served in the army, including under contract. Many have combat experience.
“I’m just sharing with them our practical experience that we got here in Donbass. Moreover, some of them themselves suggest. I look at them and understand that I also have something to learn from them,” the instructor said.
By decree of President Vladimir Putin , a partial mobilization has been announced in Russia since September 21 . According to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , it is needed to control the 1,000-kilometer line of contact and the liberated territories in Ukraine . During the mobilization, a total of 300,000 reservists will be called up, which is just over 1% of Russia’s total mobilization resource.
