More than 140 million people in Bangladesh left without electricity

NEW DELHI, Oct 4 – Novosti. More than 140 out of 168 million people in Bangladesh were left without electricity due to a power outage, reports Times Now .
It is reported that the national power transmission network failed at 14:05 (11:05 Moscow time). According to the Energy Development Council of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Electricity Company, the power grid was first switched off in the eastern part of the country, after which the other transmission networks were switched off one by one, which led to power outages in most of the regions.
